Best Hair Shows, Barber Expos, and Beauty Conventions for 2024 (So Far!)
1. Cosmoprof North America
Dates and Locations:
- January 23–25, 2024 in Miami Beach, FL
- July 23–25, 2024 in Las Vegas, NV
Why it’s great: The Cosmoprof event is known as the premiere event for launching new beauty brands and introducing revolutionary technologies, so you’re sure to stay in the know on what’s shaping the future of the industry.
Plus, there are a ton of programs to attend and opportunities to foster new relationships with like-minded folks.
2. Thriving Stylist Tour
Dates and Locations:
- January 29, 2024 in Columbia, SC at Metropolis Salon
- March 25, 2024 in St. Petersburg, FL at Tantra Hair Lounge
Why it’s great: You know we love Britt Seva.
Join Britt on tour, as she teaches local stylists and salon owners around the country.
Her half-day small group workshops include a snapshot of today’s hair industry, live hot seats (aka Q&As), hair salon business plan reviews, and networking.

3. Atlanta Black Beauty Expo
Dates: February 4, 2024
Location: Atlanta, GA
Why it’s great: As the premier show for creative black entrepreneurs in hair, fashion and photography, the Atlanta Black Beauty Expo is a “platform for creatives who want to sharpen and match their skills to compete in the world of real creativity.”
4. Premiere (Formerly ISSE)
Dates and Locations:
- February 4-5, 2024 in Anaheim, CA
- June 1-3, 2024 in Orlando, FL
- September 15-16, 2024 in San Antonio, TX
- September 29-30, 2024 in Columbus, OH
Why it’s great: One of the biggest hair and beauty shows of the year, Premiere is a professional beauty experience you don’t want to miss.

5. Bronner Bros. International Beauty Show
Dates: February 24–26, 2024
Location: Atlanta, GA
Why it’s great: With a goal of inspiring, elevating, and educating cosmetology professionals and students, the Bronner Bros. Beauty Show is the world’s largest trade show dedicated to multicultural beauty!
6. Cosmo Prof’s World of Texture Summit
Dates: February 26, 2024
Location: Virtual
Why it’s great: This annual event is the hair expo for only natural texture.
Attendees will learn about textured hair care, product innovations for curly types, and business management tips from leading brands, including DevaCurl, Sexy Hair, Alterna, Kenra, Joico, Matrix, Olaplex, and more.
7. International Beauty Show
Dates: March 3–5, 2024
Location: NYC
Why it’s great: IBS has always been an experiential event that empowers and activates a deep passion within beauty professionals. This year’s IBS show floor will still buzz, but with less crowded aisles, social distancing, and the fanciest masks you’ve ever seen!
8. Natural Products Expo West
Dates: March 12–16, 2024
Location: Anaheim, CA
Why it’s great: The must-attend trade show in the natural, organic, and health products industry, the Natural Products Expo gives you the chance to explore some of the best products in the industry.
9. The Natural Experience Annual Natural Hair, Health & Beauty Expo
Dates: March 16–17, 2024
Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Why It’s Great: “The Natural Experience is an extraordinary platform that showcases the beauty, versatility, and artistic expression of natural and textured hair.”
This year’s theme is “Spring is in the Hair: Rooted in Culture and Legacy.”
Join a “diverse community of hair enthusiasts, industry professionals, and influencers who come together to appreciate and promote the beauty and cultural significance of natural hair.”
10. America’s Beauty Show by Cosmetologists Chicago
Dates: April 20–22, 2024
Location: Rosemont, IL
Why it’s great: If you’re looking for a show to celebrate the reason you love your industry with other artists that are equally as passionate, this is the one for you. Everyone in the beauty industry can attend, including salon owners, cosmetologists, hair colorists, estheticians, and more!
11. Beauty Changes Lives Gala
Dates: April 21, 2024
Location: Rosemont, IL
Why it’s great: This special evening honors the beauty industry’s best change makers who dedicate their service to the programs of Beauty Changes Lives Organization.
Beauty Changes Live “is committed to uniting the beauty industry to support the next generation of beauty and wellness professionals.
Since its inception, the foundation has awarded over $2.8 million and over 620 scholarships to cosmetology, nail, massage, make-up, barber, and esthetics students.”
12. CT Barber Expo
Dates: May 4–6, 2024
Location: Uncasville, CT
Why it’s great: Babyliss and Wahl (just to name a couple) are sponsoring this barbering expo, so you know it’s going to be good.
(It’s also called The Barber Super Bowl…)
Not only is it a great opportunity to network with fellow barbers and brands, but you can even enter to compete in a barber battle if that’s your thing. Whether you want to compete or not, it’ll definitely be entertaining.
13. Premiere Orlando
Dates: June 1–3, 2024
Location: Orlando, FL
Why it’s great: According to Trade Show News Network, Premiere Orlando is the largest beauty show in the United States. With inspiring education from the best beauty experts, and top exhibiting companies, Premiere Orlando is a venue with multiple resources for discovering all of the latest techniques, trends, and products.
14. International Beauty Show — Vegas Style
Dates: June 22–24, 2024
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Why it’s great: Think you’ll have better luck (or more fun) in Las Vegas?
You can attend The Beauty Experience there, instead!
(Or, hey, double-down. Start with New York, then head for Nevada.)
Spend a few days learning, networking, and testing new products before you have to make any decisions on them.
15. International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference
Dates: June 22–24, 2024
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Why it’s great: Believing health and wellness should be everyone’s top priority, this event is all about education. Learn how to rejuvenate your business, gain confidence in your clients, and re-engage with your community with a fresh perspective!
16. CURLFEST 2024
Dates: July 20, 2024
Location: New York, New York
Why it’s great: Created by Curly Girl Collective, CURLFEST is back! Billed as “the world’s largest natural beauty festival,” CURLFEST is celebrating The Curly Girl Collective as this year’s theme.
It’s “a testament to resilience and commitment to creating safe spaces for our community to connect and build by way of art, music, and more. We’re bringing the best in hair and lifestyle while celebrating every expression of beauty from around the globe.”
17. American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS) Career Educators Alliance Conference
Dates: July 20–22, 2024
Location: Houston, TX
Why it’s great: If you teach in the hair and beauty industry, this is a must-attend event.
This conference, held by the AACS, “is the most respected education symposium for cosmetology, barber, esthetics, nail, and massage instructors from all over North America.”

18. The Behind the Chair Show
Dates: August 17–20, 2024
Location: Austin, TX
Why it’s great: BTC is all about finding your people! There will be awards, parties, networking, and education — it’s an all-in-one event that will help you level up your social circle and industry skills.
19. Annual New Jersey Natural Hair and Beauty Expo
Dates: August 17, 2024
Location: Edison, NJ
Why it’s great: Looking to connect with natural hair brands and/or clients? Want to learn more about curly hair care?
This is the place to be. Brought to you by the Natural Hair Coalition, this annual hair expo in New Jersey showcases industry speakers, special guests, and vendors.
20. Ubiquitous Women’s Expo
Dates: September 6–8, 2024
Location: Hanover, MD
Why it’s great: This event has it all! From high-quality exhibits and star-studded entertainment to workshops and informative panel discussions with industry pros, you’re sure to walk away from this event with a fresh wealth of knowledge.
21. AACS Annual Conference

Why it’s great: Circle back to Houston, TX, for the annual AACS Conference for educators in the hair and beauty industry and another back-to-back hair event…
22. IMAGE Expo
Dates: October 27–28, 2024
Location: Houston, TX
Why it’s great: The IMAGE Expo is the largest hair and beauty exhibition in Texas – and with over half a million cosmetologists within 200 miles of Houston, it’s no wonder they chose this beauty mecca.
