Lisa is CEO of LA Bodywork. Certified CMT, Mobility and Recovery Specialist. A Brand Ambassador/ Educator. She specializes in Medical Massage, Deep Tissue, Sports Therapy, Active Release, Acupressure, Trigger Point and Neuromuscular Massage. LisaMarie is a sports/medical manual therapist, movement specialist, and overall health coach. She is committed to helping you achieve mobility & strength and self awareness of your body, through manual therapy, static stretching, corrective and slow controlled strength building, and body maintenance. She teaches you to understand more about your body, how it stores stress & trauma and how you can implement changes over a period of time. She has worked with a variety of clientele including athletes in the NHL, NFL, NBA, MMA, UFC, and celebrities. LisaMarie is sincerely dedicated to educating people on mobility, awareness and how to feel better about the way they live through maintenance and movement. Hannah Nelson - Massage Therapist at LA Bodywork Hannah is a Massage Therapist, Physical Therapy Aide and overall Health and Wellness advocate. Her passion for wellness can be seen through her dedication to an active lifestyle, and it is her goal to help you become the best version of yourself through manual therapy and body awareness. Hannah is fully committed to holistically attending to her clients specific needs, whether it is strength building, working on injuries, or stress and pain relief. She herself has experienced injuries and recovery, truly propelling her to wanting to be an advocate for those in need of guidance to healing. She graduated from Southern California Health Institute (SHOCHi) in the Physical Therapy Aide Department with a 4.0 GPA, earning her certificate in Physical Therapy Aide and her CMT in March of 2022. Currently, she is a Teacher’s Assistant and Tutor at SOCHi for the same program, along with being a Physical Therapy Aide at Lifestyle Physical Therapy. She has a wide range of massage modalities including Swedish, Pre and Post Sports, Therapeutic, Regional, Grastin and Deep Tissue. Hannah has always been an active person throughout her life. She competitively played tennis, and was the Number One Varsity Singles Player three years in a row at her high school. She was also voted “MVP Sprinter” her senior year of high school on the track team, and won Silver in City for pole-vaulting. To this day, she still explores many areas of fitness, but her favorite activities to enjoy on her spare time are hiking, swimming, snowboarding, skim boarding and tennis.
