J.Coles Hip Hop Dance Kids 

Jaison Coles, born and raised in Harlem, New York, grew up in a creative family. His father was a musician, traveling the world with greats such as James Brown and Wilson Pickett, a singer/celebrity designer sister, and older brother who was a rapper in the 80's. He began his musical journey at the Harlem School of the Arts where he studied music and dance. He later attended DePaul University in Chicago, majoring in Vocal Performance. Influenced by the rising Hip Hop culture, Jaison learned various styles of street dance and performed in numerous venues in and around New York. His passion for teaching led him to work in education, teaching in various schools and organizations on Long Island and NYC. In 2017, he founded Hip Hop Dance Kids in Rockville Centre, New York. The program has served over 400 students, promoting growth, self-esteem, and character development, with the belief that anyone, regardless of age or ability, can dance.
