Tammy Fulton was introduced to yoga in 1997 by her longtime teacher Karen Skoronski. Yoga has transformed and deeply shaped how she views her life and the world. Tammy holds the designation of Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200) and Continuing Education Provider (YACEP) with the Internationally recognized Yoga Alliance. She owns Yoga Sublime Studio and the Sublime School of Yoga. Tammy has completed over 1,050 hours of training, with internationally recognized teachers in hatha yoga, yin yoga, vinyasa yoga, yoga philospohy, the business of yoga, pranayama and meditation. She is currently enrolled in the Semperviva 300 hour upgrade and will graduate in January 2021 as a RYT 500. Tammy completed the Sacred Ground Yoga 200 hour Teacher Training (TT) in 2011 and Namaskar Yoga 200 hour TT in 2014. In 2013 and 2014 she completed Shiva Rhea’s “Embodying the Flow” TT certification in Vinyasa Flow yoga and the Rainbow Yoga TT certifcation and Level II Business and Teaching Mentorship Program. Further training has included Restorative Yoga TT with Judith Hanson Lasater at the prestigious Kripalu Centre for Yoga in 2015. In 2016 she completed the 100 hour Advanced Teacher Training in Vinyasa Krama Yoga with Srivatsa Ramaswami, which included in depth study of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Vinyasa Asana and Pranayama as taught by Krishnamycharya. In 2017 Tammy completed Yin Yoga TT Certification with Bernie Clark at Semperviva Yoga in Vancouver. In 2018 she completed the first module of her 200 hour Kundalini Yoga TT with Gloria Latham of Semperviva Yoga. In 2019 she completed Max Strom’s “A Life Worth Breathing” TT, and Traditional Yoga Studies Yoga Nidra level 1 TT. Tammy’s yoga practice, and teaching, is further informed by advanced training in Reiki and meditation, and by her previous professional background as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, School Counsellor and Health Educator.
