I decided to become a yoga instructor after realizing how beneficial it is for athletes. For the longest time, I did not like the first few minutes of any yoga class. It was time for meditating and I could not sit still. My brain got so used to being on the go all the time that I forgot how relax and be still. Yoga has helped balance my mental state, while building strength and increase flexibility. The more I learn about yoga, the more I realized anyone in any walks of life can benefit from practicing yoga. We are all busy with our lives and we forget to take time to take care of our bodies and our mind. Yoga is a full body and mind workout. It increases strength and flexibility while calming the mind. I believe everyone can practice yoga and I want to share the benefits of yoga in a safe and inclusive environment while having a bit fun!
