Matthew Wheeler

Matthew Wheeler is from Little Rock, Arkansas. He attended the University of Georgia from 2006-2010 where he received an undergraduate degree in Family Financial Planning (B.S.). While enrolled in UGA's Family Financial Planning degree program, he participated in the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program to help underserved individuals prepare and file their tax returns (2009). He later organized an internship with Mass Mutual in Atlanta, GA (2010). After completing an internship with Mass Mutual, he initiated work as a Financial Advisor with Waddell & Reed in Atlanta, GA (2011-2016), where he developed a firm grasp of the financial services industry. To better serve clients, we restructed the business in 2016 to operate as an Independent Financial Advisor team with an on-staff Tax Preparer. Collectively, our focus is to help clients in the areas of retirement income planning, tax preparation services, and long term care insurance.
