Victoria Nash has been in the massage and spa industry since graduating from Red Mountain Institute in 2009. After attending Auburn University, she moved to Florida, attended Palm Coast Academy, and worked in various practices, spas and chiropractor's offices, honing her skills and learning new tricks along the way. She moved to the beautiful city of Huntsville in 2018, but is a native Bostonian and travels back home whenever she gets a chance. Every muscle and body tells their own story. Muscles, ligaments, tendons, and soft tissue can all hold onto trauma and past events, even if you can't feel it. Using hot stones, aromatherapy, stretching, cupping, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, neuro-muscular therapy and some good old fashioned hard work, the muscles will let go and release. Progress, not pain. Massage therapy can be a quick fix sometimes, but it can also be an investment in your overall longevity and quality of life. The work you put in the present will affect how your body will work for you in the future. Massage therapy can help reduce anxiety and depression episodes, as well as lower blood pressure and increase those feel good hormones our bodies need to live a happy life.
