Marcus Negron
Marcus Negron

Marcus’ passion for Salsa dance began at the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). He was a member of the student organization, L.A.S.O. He was co-founders of the L.A.S.O. dance team “Los Rumberos”. The team was created to represent a part of the Hispanic culture during UTA’s International week. He was a member of the dance group for 2 years and eventually moved to Austin where he met dancers, Delilah Torrence and Lorenzo Brizeno, who introduced him to the Mezcla Dance Co. He has been professionally teaching for over 12 years. “My goal here is to inspire people to take lessons to dance and help the Latin dance scene grow in the Arlington, Grand Prairie, Irving, Dallas, and Fort Worth areas.”
