The LAB Salon 

Kristy is the owner of The LAB salon. She was raised in Kalaheo Kauai and left the island in 1994 to pursue her career in the beauty industry in Honolulu, Los Angeles and Laguna Beach CA. She returned to Kauai in 2009 and opened the LAB salon in her hometown of Kalaheo. Kristy trained at Hollywood Beauty College on Oahu and at Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica. She has worked with Aveda since 2001. She specializes in balayage, color, cuts, Japanese straightening, and extensions. Her work can be seen on Instagram @loveartbeauty

Michelle was born and raised on Kauai's west side. She attended beauty school on Oahu in 2013 and has attended multiple advanced training workshops. Her work can be seen on Instagram @beautyblissbymich_ All stylists at the LAB are independent contractors and are responsible for their own bookings.
