Kim Silverthorn is a clinical counsellor/psychotherapist/counselling therapist and holds the designation of a Registered Professional Counsellor (R.P.C.) and a Master Practitioner of Clinical Counselling (M.P.C.C.) through the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (C.P.C.A.). THIS BOOKING SELECTION IS FOR NEUROFEEDBACK TRAINING/THERAPY SESSIONS ONLY. These sessions are offered as in-person appointments only (not by Zoom). Neurofeedback Training/Therapy is an excellent treatment modality for both teen and adult clients. These appointments are designed a individual sessions only (not as couples therapy). Neurofeedback Training/Therapy helps clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self harm, eating disorders, addictions, sleep issues, migraines, work/sports performance needs, low motivation, self-esteem issues and stress. Regular Neurofeedback Sessions are currently available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Intake sessions are ONLY available on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Combined Talk Therapy and Neurofeedback sessions are also ONLY available on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This schedule will expand as needed. Jenn Page is a clinical counsellor and holds the designation of a Registered Professional Counsellor (R.P.C.) through the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (C.P.C.A.) – she is also registered as a Counselling Therapist (C.T.) with A.C.T.A. She has more than 10 years of experience as a therapist, and several more years of experience in the business world. Jenn sees clients via ZOOM - and IN-PERSON, from her office in Wetaskiwin (4527 56 St. - about 35 min from Beaumont) - she does NOT see clients in the Beaumont office. She is available on Thursdays, from 2pm to 6pm. Jenn provides individual counselling supports to youth and adults. She works with clients who are struggling with anger, addictions, anxiety, depression, family conflict, grief and loss issues, mood disorders, self-esteem struggles, stress management concerns, and life/career transitions (for example, anyone who is going through career changes, divorce, educational pursuits, or retirement). She likes to use modalities that are person-centered, strength-based, and goal orientated. She has specialty training in Medicine Wheel teachings and in CBT and Solution Focused Therapies. Janet VanCaeseele is a clinical counsellor/psychotherapist and holds the designation of a registered C.C.C. (Canadian Certified Counsellor) with the CCPA (Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association). She has a Masters of Counselling Degree. She has also been a Registered Nurse (with AHS) for 16 years and has specialized in mental health supports for her patients. Janet is available to see clients both IN-PERSON and by ZOOM, on Wednesday afternoons (12noon to 4:00pm), Thursdays (12noon to 3pm) and on Saturdays (10am to 1pm) - at the Beaumont office. She also sees clients IN-PERSON and by ZOOM - on Mondays and Fridays, in her Sherwood Park office (about 25 min away from Beaumont). Janet provides individual counselling supports to youth and adults - she also works with couples. Her areas of expertise include clients who struggle with emotional regulation, shame, addictions, anger, low self esteem, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, childhood trauma, and relationship issues. She is also registered as a Counselling Therapist (C.T.) with ACTA (Association of Counselling Therapists of Alberta). Barb has a Masters of Counselling Psychology Degree. She has been a therapist for over 26 years. Barb is available to see clients both IN-PERSON and by ZOOM, on Mondays (from 4pm 8:00pm) - at the Beaumont office. She will also be available on Wednesdays (4pm to 8pm) BUT NOT UNTIL January 8th, 2025. Barb provides individual counselling supports to youth and adults - she is also excellent with couples. Her areas of expertise include clients who struggle with complex trauma, substance and behavioural addictions, abuse, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, sexual health and sexual intimacy in relationships, sexual/gender diversity, and consensual non-monogamy/polyamory. Barb is trained in a wide range of modalities including Solution Focused Therapy, CBT, ACT, and EMDR trauma treatment. She trains at an advanced level with the Developmental Model of Couples Counselling (The Couples Institute) ; ATSIP (Assessing & Treating Sex Issues in Psychotherapy); and Consensual Non-Monogamy (The Institute for Relational Intimacy). Barb works with clients who struggle with issues that often originated in their earliest life experiences (she experienced many issues in her own childhood and youth).
