The Eye Shoppe 

Rachel began working while still in High School at 14 years of age. At the age of 17, Rachel started her career in the optical industry as a receptionist for a private office in the SF Bay Area. She used her knowledge of the industry and passion for people to become a Licensed Optical Manager and then to become the youngest General Manager in her region for another optical conglomerate a few years later. Rachel fast tracked her way into eventually running a private office in Palo Alto with the goal of providing the best experiences for her patients. Rachel stepped away from the optical industry for a couple of years to go back to school and pursue another passion of hers, teaching! But she couldn't stay away long before opportunity presented itself and now she is co-founder of The Eye Shoppe, where she is looking forward to sharing her expertise and excitement to everyone who enters the door! Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys quality time with her family and her friends. She also enjoys pursuing other passions of hers such as writing, reading, exploring, and running. She has a degree in social science from Shasta College. And is currently pursuing a degree at Simpson University in Psychology.

What do you get when you take a second generation optician combined with an outrageous sense of humor and a passion to help people see their lives more dynamically and with added clarity? Well, meet Lisa Trippi! Lisa, with over 30 years of optical knowledge, followed in her mother's footsteps at a very young age. Inspired by her Mom, Lisa was determined to bring folks joy through eyewear. Influenced by art, her creative itch and the understanding that great eyesight is priceless, she combines her artistic styling with her knowledge of optics to create the perfect eyewear for each of her clients. She works hard at making it possible to afford more than one pair of glasses, as well. Her ideas in creating better ways to service her clients has been featured in Invision Magazine, an optical trade journal. "It really comes down to making everyone I meet literally laugh out loud! What could be more fun than that?" she asks.

Caitlin comes to The Eye Shoppe with many years of customer service. She is a California girl through and through. Her kindheartedness, thoroughness, and consistency served her customers well as an esthetician, but now, becoming an optician at The Eye Shoppe, it moves her to help our patients see with better clarity and with a style that'll make them smile! Caitlin is married, has two dogs and lots of chickens! When Caitlin isn't being amazing at work, she enjoys being home with her family cozied up with a good movie.
