I love Chinese Medicine! It has helped me tremendously with all kinds of pain, headaches, colds, digestive upsets, and insomnia. I'm passionate about helping people in our community regain health and balance; I founded SRCA to make this gentle and effective medicine accessible to all. So far, I've provided over 70,000 treatments in my 23 year career. I'm a 7th generation acupuncturist & herbalist and feel blessed to have opportunities to study extensively with esteemed clinicians in the US as well as with my uncle in China, renowned acupuncturist, Dr. Yan Junbai. Outside of SRCA, I'm happiest exploring our creek trails, gardening, attempting to bake sourdough, and spending downtime with loved ones.

I have been studying and practicing acupuncture and Chinese medicine for 5 years now but have been studying other healing arts in one form or another for over a decade. I love to help facilitate people on their healing journey, wherever they are in it. I am curious about illness and wellness in all forms but am most passionate about mental, spiritual, emotional, and sexual health, and its dynamic interplay with trauma. I have traveled all around the US, but currently call Marin my home. There I enjoy making art of any kind, meditating, reading, being in the forest, at the ocean or road tripping to hot springs.

I graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2013 and I am a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of California as well as a nationally accredited Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). While at school I was continually inspired and amazed by the healing power of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to create balance in our bodies, and I carry that reverence into my practice. During my time as a student, I was able to intern with world-renowned fertility specialist Dr. Lifang Liang, and I still incorporate her teachings into my treatments. Using TCM to help heal people is one of the greatest honors and sources of joy in my life. My specialties include stress management, weight loss, endocrinology and fertility treatments, pain management, and facial rejuvenation therapy. When not treating patients, you can find me spending time with my family, doing yoga, dipping my toes in the Russian River, or getting lost in a good book. I live in Petaluma with my partner and our two children.

“I am originally from Pennsylvania, home of the Declaration of Independence, Liberty Bell, Amish country, cheesesteaks, and the city of brotherly love. I'm currently working as a licensed acupuncturist while continuing my education in the doctoral program at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College. In 2021, I published my first book, “Talks with the Source,” a philosophical text with affirmations for daily enjoyment. I am an intuitive healer and integrative medicine practitioner specializing in palliative care. I also have experience treating high blood pressure, anxiety, stress, insomnia, skin conditions, fatigue, cold conditions, and many other ailments efficiently and effectively. As an acupuncturist and herbalist, my work and lifestyle are geared toward serving our community by making traditional medicine accessible. I enjoy connecting with people in our community. I see the light in all. I’m excited and honored to meet you! Outside of SRCA, I enjoy spending quality time in nature and on the couch with my wife, Tania, and cat, Rocky.”
