Jaymee Senigaglia
Jaymee Senigaglia

Jaymee Senigaglia is an established Vocal Director in children’s theater and Vocal Coach in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jaymee studied Musical Theater at The American Musical And Dramatic Academy and Voice at the Matt Farnsworth Vocal Studio in New York City. After developing the music program at Pac Heights Kidz in San Francisco, Jaymee opened Stage Presence in 2015. Stage Presence is the premier Bay Area Studio for Confidence Through Singing and Music, as well as Audition Technique for children. Jaymee returned to the Stage in 2019 as "Pattie" in West Valley Light Opera's production of Smokey Joe's Cafe, where her portrayal of "Pattie" led to her nomination for an Irma Award as well as a TBA nomination for Best Ensemble. In 2020, Jaymee successfully transitioned Stage Presence to a virtual studio, vocal directed two cabarets on zoom, and launched a successful Assisting Program at Stage Presence for young vocalists where high school and college singers were mentored on how to teach the Stage Presence Method to current students. In 2020, Jaymee was accepted into Berklee College Of Music's Bachelor of Arts Degree program where she is currently studying business and voice. Jaymee currently helps her incredible staff grow as teaching artists, teaches a full schedule of private voice students, and vocal directs at Throckmorton Theater in Marin. When not teaching, performing, or parenting, Jaymee focuses on songwriting and she is grateful to inspire, coach, and help students thrive. She is overjoyed to extend her talents to SFartsEd this Spring!

Joseph Schaben
Joseph Schaben

Joe is a multi-instrumentalist who was born and raised in the city of Las Vegas. He spent 4 years as a percussion technician for multiple high schools in the Vegas valley, several of which would go on to win outstanding percussion awards in competitions throughout Nevada and Arizona. Joe attended the College of Southern Nevada, where he won numerous awards as he completed his Associates Degree in Drum Set Performance, while also privately studying jazz piano, and saxophone. Joe also has a Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Commercial Music Performance, with an emphasis in saxophone/multi-woodwinds, in addition to drum set and piano. During his time at UNLV, Joe was a member of UNLV’s prestigious Jazz Ensemble I, which won numerous awards from Downbeat Magazine, as well as Jazz Times Magazine. In addition, Joe has also had the opportunity to perform live with many incredible players, such as trumpeter Kenny Rampton from the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, drummer Butch Miles from The Count Basie Orchestra, drummer Gregg Bissonette from Ringo Starr’s All-Star Band, among others. Joe is very excited to share his dedication and passion for all things music with the students at SFartsED! Joe currently serves as co-owner of Stage Presence where he built and launched the instrument program which is focused on building technique and confidence through music. Let’s have some fun!

Emily has been training in Music, Dance and Singing for 15 years, she graduated from the University of Chichester in England in 2018 with a BA (Hons) in Theater. Her parents put her into ballet classes at the age of 3 and she never looked back, expanding her experience by taking as many classes in as many different art styles as possible. Emily has performed with many professional companies over the years including Musical Theatre and Dance companies. She has a passion for expanding children's futures and encouraging their development through the arts. She firmly believes that encouraging a child's imagination through movement and art is key to their futures. As the eldest of six children she has extensive experience with children of all ages and abilities. Emily has primarily worked directing and choreographing musicals and teaching theatre and dance in Elementary Schools and for youth theatre companies throughout the Bay Area. Melanie Flanagan

Melanie Flanagan is a musical theater teaching artist who loves to combine music and movement to create stories with aspiring artists of all ages. From imagination play with kindergarteners, to teen conservatory acting classes, to choreography with senior citizens, Melanie delights in sharing theater arts with anyone who’ll say “yes, and…” She’s been teaching with Theatre Under The Stars in Houston in their community engagement and conservatory programming for the past two seasons. She also teaches early childhood music classes when she’s not tutoring middle school math and science. Before she moved to Houston in 2018, she worked with Lincoln Center and The Little Orchestra Society in New York City, creating and managing interactive theatrical experiences for young audiences. She has produced and directed performances across the United States, collaborating with opera singers, movie stars, aerialists, giant puppets, and marching bands.
