Annie loves everything aesthetics! With more than 10 years working in the industry, she is passionate and excited about continuously growing and evolving in her profession to offer the very best in patient care, always. Annie has her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University, is board-certified in aesthetics (licensed skin care therapist), laser and microneedling certified, and also obtained her CANS certification in Aesthetics nursing. Annie is one of the couple hundred in the country to obtain the CANS certification, which is the highest level a professional can obtain in her role as an RN. Annie is also a member of the ISPAN organization, who’s mission is promoting the education, competency, and professional development of the Plastic + Aesthetic Nurses.

Meet Gema Montaño, Skin Charm's resident mermaid & go-to gal for natural, delicate injections. This Tucson native excelled at NAU’s W.A. Franke College of Business, but ultimately decided to chase her ambition of being an aesthetic nurse after a job at Red Door Spa ignited a fiery passion for skin care. Gema, ever the dreamer, knew she was destined to safeguard others' beauty and after one grueling year in ASU’s accelerated post-baccalaureate nursing program, she graduated with a 4.0 and her BSN -- the ticket to her dream career as a nurse injector. Gema’s extensive training at National Laser Institute, coupled with her artistic eye, immediately caught the attention of Annie & the Skin Charm team. Aside from her practiced hand and warm-hearted approach, Gema prides herself on helping other women feel confident, happy, and prepared to conquer the world. As a young girl, Emily was constantly reminded of her self-worth by a mother who was (and continues to be) the epitome of beauty. It wasn’t until she was a bit older that Emily began to notice how age weighs upon even the most beautiful, robbing them of a former confidence that ought to remain. From that day on, she harbored a dream of helping women, like her own mother, regain their natural beauty and harness the courage to live life unhindered by self-doubt. Emily graduated summa cume laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from ASU before returning for her BSN in 2018. She started her nursing career at Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center on a busy medical-surgical floor before taking a leap of faith to pursue a career in aesthetics.
