Tom has practiced yoga since 2001 and Tai Chi since 2010. Tom completed his 200-hour teacher training with Alignment Yoga in Blue Mounds, WI. He has been teaching yoga and Tai Chi since December 2016. Tom is an English professor at the University of Wisconsin- Platteville. He enjoys gaming, the outdoors, and writing.
Tina Disch started her yoga practice in 2017 with Tom Pitcher, her significant other, and she has blossomed into a better SELF as a result of yoga--she is healthier and happier! She completed her YTT-200 hr program at Body and Soul in Dubuque and is a Certified Yoga Instructor. The yoga practice that Tina wishes to bring to the community is a dynamic, physical practice, which synchronizes breath and movement. This produces an internal heat, designed to purify the body. This yoga is great for building core strength and toning the body.
Nadia enjoys teaching a gentle flow, adding props to make poses accessible to everyone. In attending her classes, she'll help you build strength and flexibility over time. Nadia enjoys learning about multiple yoga modalities and incorporating pieces that she learns into her classes! Nadia began practicing yoga in 2001 and enjoyed the relaxation, stretching, strengthening of the body and centering of the mind. Nadia completed her 200 hour training with B-1 Yoga studio in April 2018 and become certified with Yoga Alliance shortly thereafter. During summer 2018, she taught at B-1 and also taught a beginner series in Platteville. Recently, she has been practicing Baptiste style yoga at Ignite Studio in Dubuque, IA.
