I have been a stylist for 17 years and co-owner of Reflection Salon for six years. My years of experience include cutting, coloring, and styling various curly hair types from 1A-4C. Currently, I hold certifications for curl technique, Brazillian blowout, relaxer, balayage, and hotheads extension application. I love on-site, behind-the-scenes work where I can use my talents in makeup application and for styling photo shoots and weddings. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with Tacoma Art Museum on an art fashion show, as well as body-building photo shoots/competitions. My artistic hair and makeup styling work can also be seen in photo and video projects with country music artist Leah Justine. Whether creating a look from head to toe or just updating your favorite haircut and color, I’m all in!

I have been at Reflection Salon for six years and a stylist for more than 25 years. After beauty school in Seattle, I completed two years of advanced training at Gary Manuel. I have attended further education in San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, and Vancouver, B.C. I enjoy both color and precision cutting techniques. I am also certified in Brazillian blowout. What I enjoy most is getting to know my clients’ personalities and creating the best look for their lifestyles. In 2006, I settled in Fircrest and worked for 10 years in an Aveda Salon where I met many of the clients I have today. I love our local community and welcoming my guests to our neighborhood salon because I get to make every person who sits in my chair feel great about themselves.

I have been at Reflection Salon for four years and a stylist for 36 years. As a licensed educator, I have received advanced training from Gene Juarez and Aveda schools. Developing connective relationships with my clients through their hair needs is a top priority — it has been the No. 1 reason why I continue to work in this industry. I love to create individual looks for clients with color and a haircut: it is the ultimate transformation in my salon chair. I am also certified in curl technique, Brazillian blowout, balayage, and Hotheads hair extension applications.
