My approach to hair is based in education. I like to help my clients understand their hair type, to find a style that they feel comfortable in, that suits their day to day styling routine. Whether you want a pixie cut or a fade, just a trim or to chop it all off, if your hair is thick, thin, curly, or you just have some crazy cowlicks I’m here to help you tame that mane! I love doing color, from natural to mermaid hair, and specialize in Pulp Riot's color line.
Experienced stylist. Blonding specialist, extensive education and passionate about growing. Currently, NOT taking New Clients unless by referral.
Morgana Hardy (she/her) Morgana is happy anytime she can make someone feel stylish, or more confident. Her goal is to help every client find the hair that lets them unlock their truest most confident self, and experience their maximum number of great hair days! She specializes in curls and dimensional color. She also loves balayage, warm brunettes, razor cuts, bobs, and the occasional updo. Before beginning her career as a hairstylist, Morgana worked in fine art. That creativity, love of working with her hands, and learning, led her to the beauty industry. She focused on skincare and makeup artistry for many years until falling in love with hair and focusing on that as her primary passion. When not in the salon, she can be found thrifting with her partner Jen, crafting, cooking, or researching mythology, true crime, and Old Hollywood.
My career began nearly 20 years ago when I was recognized in Seattle Magazine as an “Up and Coming Hairstylist” at Gene Juarez Salons & Spas. After eight years honing my craft in Seattle, I relocated to New York City to further my expertise at the renowned Frederic Fekkai salon on Fifth Avenue. However, within a year, I realized my true passion wasn't in becoming a leading figure in the hair industry. This insight led me to Portland, where I've spent the last decade at Rudy's Barbershop on Division Street, focusing on personalized, client-centered hairstyling. My approach centers on using hair design to accentuate and frame your face, while using chemical services to highlight and enhance the richness of your hair color. I believe in an ongoing dialogue with clients, gathering feedback to refine our work together. Understanding your preferences helps us avoid past missteps and build upon what works, ensuring each hairstyle evolves to best suit you at every stage of your hair journey.
