For over three decades I have taught Hatha yoga inspired by Vanda Scaravelli and her influence on my two mentors, Diane Long and Esther Myers. I create the conditions for students to let go of the fragmented multitasking everyday world and be focused in the present. Instead of asking the right way to do each posture, I invite students to explore the shape, rhythm and movement in the asanas as a guide to recognize their holding patterns and how to release from the inside. Asana practice becomes a meditation in movement. With cues, images, and hands-on assists, developed over many years, I guide students into a full expression of the postures with less effort and more wholeness!
