Dr. Yumiko Fujimoto, a dedicated clinician and healer, introduced her to ancient Asian healing practices, including acupressure, shiatsu, reflexology, and energy healing. Initially a patient, Beth later became a student under Fujimoto Sensei's guidance from 1994 to 1996. Upon returning to the United States in 1998, while furthering her training in energy healing through Therapeutic Touch, she pursued her certification in massage therapy, delving into various massage techniques, with a particular emphasis on shiatsu massage, integrative massage, and deep tissue & sports massage. Mikaela Minoggi is a Santa Cruz, CA native. She attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she completed her B.S. degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science. Receiving massage therapy has always been a helpful tool for improving her understanding of the body and her own healing process. After graduating from San Francisco School of Massage & Bodywork, Mikaela has been utilizing a combination of relaxing swedish along with therapeutic deep tissue massage techniques for a holistic and individualized approach to each client. Within her sports massage sessions, her techniques include compression and range of motion assessments, myofascial and trigger point release, pin and stretch, passive ROM, PNF, traction, and mobilization.
