I began practicing yoga during recovery from an injury & have never looked back. I started practicing Bikram Yoga & fell in love with the physicality of it. After my recovery, I began to look for more from yoga & started exploring other styles. Over the course of my practice, my love for yoga & the desire to share it with others never waned. In 2019 I obtained my 200-RYT from Myriad Yoga in Brownsville, VT. I am excited to begin a new journey, sharing yoga with people & integrating my love of sports & the outdoors into my teaching, whether through classes for athletes, classes to get you moving, or slow flow classes outdoors or in the studio with views of Mt Ascutney. Off the mat, I am an avid skier & wanna-be trail runner. I am thrilled to be back living on the family farm where spring finds me in the sugarhouse and summer in the gardens. We have a small studio at the farm which gives me the ability me to share 2 of my fav things; yoga & the peace I find on the farm.
I first started practicing yoga as a way to spend time with my step mom (who happens to be the Oxbow Yoga studio owner). As my interest grew, I learned of the myriad of benefits it offers and experienced the physical and mental rewards of practice. I studied at San Francisco’s Yoga Garden to earn my 200-RYT in 2018. My style of yoga is fun and upbeat, but includes plenty of relaxation time, leaving my students physically exhausted but mentally calm. Outside of the studio I enjoy hiking, traveling, and rock climbing. I’m currently a student at the University of Vermont where I study health sciences and Chinese, but I often make the trip south to teach at my favorite farm/studio/home!
