Born in South Africa, Nira was first introduced to Yoga as child by her mother in the 70’s. Nira immigrated to California in 1986 with her family and for years dabbled with yoga. But craving a change from routine gym workouts, Nira arrived at Ocala Power Yoga in 2014 and found herself drawn to come back for more due the calm she experienced from practice, a welcome relief from what she began to realize was a detrimentally stressful medical career. Philosopher, adventurer, and international man of mystery. From what little can be pieced together of his origin story, Jesse began his yoga journey some years ago, deep in the wintery isolation of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. It is unclear how or why he first appeared in Ocala in late 2023, but he quickly made himself part of the local yoga community, bringing his unique blend of curiosity, wit, and adventurous spirit to the mat. Jesse’s teaching style is equal parts playful and insightful, combining mindful movement with philosophical reflection. Whether you’re seeking a challenge or some calm, his classes invite you to explore yoga as an adventure in self-discovery.
