My passion for fitness began while taking a Karate class in college. I found unexpected joy in breaking boards, elevated push-ups and doing 1000 crunches a class. Being asked to push my body to a place I didn't think was possible and then actually doing it sparked something in me that is still burning almost 20 years later. Although the Karate class was short lived, the passion is still very much alive and I have spent years exploring different styles of movement and firmly believe that whatever style of workout you choose, it should be enjoyable. I have adopted a body kindness and holistic approach to personal training that I use with clients and incorporate into my workout class, Mixtape. I believes that working out should never be about punishing the body, but celebrating all that the body can do. We're all made a little differently and I welcome all fitness levels. I love meeting people where they're at!
