A Bit About Me I’ve been providing massage therapy to friends and family since my teen years. My father, a farmer and a carpenter with a bad back, received bodywork from a neighbor who was an osteopath. Accompanying my dad on his visits, Dr. Plash would show me how I could work on my dad when needed. My interest in bodywork continued, but business school is where I placed my focus. After several years working in the finance and medical device industries , I realize my passion was still driven to massage therapy and bodywork... (The gift of a massage table from friends who said, “Di, you need to do this!” also didn’t hurt). So, off to CenterPoint Massage & Shiatsu School I went. This gave me a wonderful foundation toward treating those in pain. Needing to learn more, I continued my education in myofascial work at the Institute for Structural Integration under John Latz My Columbia Heights based studio is where I spend most of my time, but you may also find me on the Wisconsin snowmobile trials, attending a local concert or exploring new cities around the globe.
