Mel is a certified Group Fitness Instructor through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and PiYo LIVE instructor. She has been teaching group fitness for almost four years and has been with Amarah for the last two years. Her approach to group fitness is one that is inclusive, encouraging, and challenging! Her primary goal is for every fitness class is to ensure that everyone leaves the room feeling better than when they entered.
I'm originally from Wisconsin. Yes, I love the Packers! ...and cheese! ;) I moved to PA in 2015 and fell in love with it! My husband is a resident in Orthopedic Surgery through UPMC. We have two girls, Rowyn -10 and Ember -3. I was a teacher for 7 years before we moved here. I currently stay home with my little and teach this rockin' class. I became certified in POUND in January 2018 and love rocking out! POUND just spoke to me. It woke up that inner rock star that's always been there and gave me the confidence to be myself. It's a stress relief and a great outlet for self expression. I love letting loose in a class and reaping the benefits of an awesome workout!
