Dave has instructed some of the top pitchers in the state over the years and continues to help girls of all ages reach their highest level of potential and keep them healthy in the process. He is continually studying the modern techniques of pitching.
Maya has been a student of LFP since she was just starting out in softball. She is an advanced pitcher who competes at the highest level. Maya specializes in teaching beginner mechanics. She currently plays D1 college softball at Belmont University.
Katie has been a student of LFP since she was 8 years old. She is an advanced pitcher who competes at the highest level. Katie specializes in teaching beginner mechanics. She currently plays college softball at Ohio Dominican University.
Gabrielle Fredericks played four years of Division 1 softball: 1 Year at The University of Akron and 3 years in the ACC at The University of Pittsburgh where she was both a catcher and first baseman. As a freshman, she was named to the all MAC Tournament Team and was a starter on the first Pitt team to win the ACC Coastal Division in 2018. She has been giving lessons in her hometown since high school and would love to share her knowledge and love for the game of softball.
Ryan has many years coaching experience including working with one of the top athlete's in the country, his daughter Maya Johnson, who is a Division 1 signee with the University of Pittsburgh and FLO softball has ranked 42nd in nation among all position players. Ryan coached for the Outlaws organization when his daughter was young and has 10 years experience coaching for Padua Franciscan High School. Ryan is a student of pitching - with a passion for learning the latest techniques and science that makes great pitchers. Ryan has worked along side with Dave and Amie for almost 10 years and is educated in the style and fundamentals we teach at Leffew Fastpitch.
Harper has been a student of LFP since she was 9 years old. She is an advanced pitcher who competes at the highest level. Harper specializes in teaching beginner mechanics.
Abby began her softball career by following her big sister all around the country to watch her play. Then, when it was her turn to play she played 10 years of competitive softball, including a state championship. Abby's dream was to one day coach her daughters, but she ended up with three boys, who are all now in travel baseball. Abby is passionate about helping beginner pitchers get started. She started giving private lessons to first year softball players in the community where she quickly realized there are very few resources for beginning pitchers. Abby has coached youth baseball and youth basketball in her community and hopes to continue to make a difference for young athletes. Abby also serves on her local youth baseball board.
This rental include access to a hitting stall, which includes a hitting mat, a home plate, a tee and hitting balls. Maximum of 3 people per stall. **Groups of more than 3 athletes to a stall will be charged an additional $10 fee for rental. **Groups must have EVERYONE sign a wavier before entering the space.
