Hi, my name is Joy Porter. I’ve been happily in the hair industry for around 30 years. I’m lucky to love my job and my client friends. Some of my training encludes experts such as Redken 5th Avenue in NYC, Gramm Web, Goldwell, Keratherapy, Pravana and more. I started my career in a busy salon in downtown State College Pa. After managing and being a master stylist there and one other salon downtown, I opened my own in Lemont Pa. I am currently working in a small boutique spa like space in Houserville Pa., just 2 miles from the downtown area and Penn State. I love pampering my clients as they relax in the garden by the pound with a running water fountain while waiting for their appointment or service to process. I’m always excepting new clients and am happy to give free consults.
