Shereda James
Shereda James

Shereda has a passion for walking along side men and couples to resolve issues of relational conflict, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life's unexpected challenges. She is trained in EMDR and is working toward being certified by the EMDR International Association. Shereda's desire in counseling is that the client's struggles will bring them to a richer understanding of their identity in Christ. She works two days a week to fulfill a commitment to her retired husband not to allow her passions to take control. She is a provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Health Care and United Behavioral Health.

Lindy Peterson
Lindy Peterson

Lindy wants to provide support to those who are dealing with life situations that create loneliness, grief, anxiety, and depression. She provides pre-marital counseling for engaged couples at the Counseling Center and feels preparing couples for a marriage focused on God is most rewarding. After 36 years as a middle school counselor, she has experience working with adolescents and families in crisis. One of Lindy's life scriptures is Philippians 4:7-8, and she hopes to help her clients understand more clearly what it means to be in Christ and to gain “the peace that transcends all understanding” in Christ as we think on the “things that are true”.
