Spring~Summer 2024 Farm Staff Includes: Sophie Sabol Sophie grew up riding in Westernaires, an incredible high performance horseback riding club in Golden, Colorado. She was riding drills (fast paced patterned rides) working on equitation and helping younger riders while caring for the horse herd. She then worked in Jackson, Wyoming as a trail guide and taught over 100 people from ages 5-75 how to ride, many of whom had never been on a horse! Sophie has had a passion for horses ever since she was a child. Sophie is instructing our horseback riding lessons at Hart Farm and helping keep the herd in great shape! Eliana Hart Hart Family Farm has been Eliana's home for over 10 years. Now at age 18, she has cared for all stages of animal life and has participated in the tending of the land for many seasonal cycles on the farm. She is especially knowledgable about the natural care for domestic and wild birds. Eliana has been leading farm visits for children for several years and does in-home childcare for many local families. She has also been a participant and assistant in the summer theater camp we host on the farm for 7 years. Growing up with 2 much younger sisters, Eliana has a very patient and gentle personality and looks forward to connecting more kids with life on the farm! Eliana is leading the Wednesday afterschool farm fun days and camps. Esther Van Zyl Esther is an amazing creative being who loves life's expressions and spending time with children. We are so lucky to have her as our collaborative partner with her Dramagic Children's Theater program for this summer's camp! James & Sara Hart Owners and farmers at Hart Family Farm.
