Valerie Morris, RMT
Valerie Morris, RMT

Valerie is devoted to wellness and healing. She is a graduate of both the Rehabilitation and Massage Therapy programs at Sir Sanford Fleming. Experienced, she has been practicing as an RMT for 17 years and dealt with a variety of health concerns such as sports injuries, repetitive strain injuries, pre/post natal tension, migraines, TMJ, and post surgical recovery. With Valerie you will receive individualized and tailored treatments based on her extensive knowledge and expertise. She uses a variety of techniques, in particular deep tissue massage. Dedicated to fitness and an active lifestyle, she has gained great appreciation of how the body feels under different stresses and how to best remedy recovery.

Josie Rocnik, RMT

As a newly Registered Massage Therapist in 2001, Josie opened a practice in Windsor, ON. Eight years later she made the decision to move to Burlington. After living and practicing in Burlington with Burlington Sports Therapy for over 5 years she decided to return to her home town to be closer to family. We currently have the pleasure of offering Josie's services on an occasional basis. Josie offers Relaxation, Deep Tissue and Pregnancy Massage as well as treatments Sports injuries, Work Related Injuries and Stress Reduction. Techniques involving Scapular Stretch and Rotator Cuff Release may also be used based on the needs of a patient. Josie is a committed RMT whose philosophy of lifelong learning assists patients in achieving and maintaining a pain free lifestyle.

Ryan Smith
Ryan Smith

Ryan has been a Registered Massage Therapist for two years. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education from Brock University and graduated from The Ontario College of Health and Technology with a diploma in massage therapy. Ryan has a particular interest in coaching and has been certified with the National Coaching Certification Program since 2016 (competitive/introductory level). Ryan has experience working with anyone from athletes to office workers in varying age groups. He has seen athletic injuries, repetitive strain injuries, postural strain and chronic pain syndromes. Ryan considers himself as a therapeutic practitioner using treatment strategies to help his clients achieve pain free living. These treatment strategies include trigger point therapy, myofascial release therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation stretching, postural analysis and the correction of postural imbalances. He frequently uses education and exercise to help maintain and encourage an overall healthy lifestyle. Growing up in Oshawa, Ryan has always remained active. He has enjoyed playing soccer, rugby and hockey throughout the years and has also coached youth soccer.

Michael De Ciantis, RMT
Michael De Ciantis, RMT

Michael’s journey to massage has been circuitous. He graduated from the Schulich School of Business at York University with an Honours degree in 2006 and went on to a successful 12-year career on Bay Street in Toronto in the Financial Services sector. After struggling with chronic pain and fatigue, Michael developed a passion for health and wellness. After improving his own quality of life through lifestyle change, Michael left his job in 2018 in the interest of helping others do the same. Michael took a 10-month parental leave to care for his first son, Jacob, before going back to school. He graduated at the top of his class en route to an Honours diploma in Massage Therapy from the Ontario College of Health & Technology in 2019. He is currently registered, in good standing, with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Michael believes that massage can be an integral component of any rehabilitation plan as well as help minimize pain and increase body awareness for sustained well
