GREG : Through overcoming a series of physical challenges yoga became Greg's sanctuary. He became certified in 2022 focusing on empowering students to embrace their own journey, fostering growth, positive transformation, and to have fun. LAKE : Lake is a 200-Hour RYT with a passion for making yoga accessible for all body types and skill levels. Trained by Uplifted Yoga Academy, Lake has been practicing for over 11 years & teaching for 3. Her yoga teaching style is compassionate, caring, and body-positive, informed by past struggles with her confidence and body image which yoga has helped her overcome. Beyond the mat, Lake is working towards a Psychology degree with ASU and plans to use her degree to weave together the mind-body aspects of both psychology and yoga. ABE: I found yoga as apart of my healing journey and shortly discovered it was a deep passion and wanted to make it accessible for everyBODY as well as creating a space where all felt welcomed. Yoga has helped me learn to listen and connect with my own body and breath. I love sharing the healing and connective part of yoga into our deeper inner selves. I believe practicing yoga goes beyond the work put on the mat. When I'm not in the studio I'm out exploring nature or cuddled up with my dogs! BECKIE: Beckie is an ERYT-500 with 25 years of personal yoga, meditation, & breathwork practice and thirteen years of trauma informed & adaptive yoga teaching experience. Beckie was first introduced to yoga as a modality to manage PTSD & anxiety. After suffering a traumatic brain injury in 2010, yoga became her path to radical healing. Beckie believes yoga is for everybody in every body and strives to make the benefits of yoga accessible to all. Utilizing a wide variety of trainings, she meets you where you are at today, joyfully weaving props and modifications into every practice. Her teaching style is a light hearted “choose your own adventure”, resulting in a unique & truly accessible practice.
