Hey! I'm JD(They/Them), a queer craft hairstylist. Education has been the backbone of my career since I started doing hair 11 years ago. Whether it be absorbing as much as I could as a new stylist, to sharing that knowledge with other stylists in recent years, it’s always been paramount. I moved to Seattle in August 2019 to explore my career as an educator and to be exposed to more resources. I worked as Lead Color Educator at a local corporation for about six months before I decided to take a leap. Education is what keeps us moving forward and education should include all hair types and textures.
