Mr. Smith brings a unique perspective to his workshops, due to a diverse educational / professional background covering more than 30 years. He holds a BS in Environmental Biology (U of Utah), an MS in Geophysics (Colorado School of Mines), is a registered professional engineer (PE) in Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington and a licensed professional geologist (PG) in Washington. Mr. Smith is a regulatory compliance expert, with an emphasis in 40CFR112 (aka the SPCC Rule). Since 2002, Brett has performed SPCC Compliance Reviews; prepared 60 plus single / multi-facility SPCC Plans and conducted numerous Tank Integrity Inspections (SP001 Tank Inspection Std).
