The Occult Mama 

Iya Omi’s journey is no different from many women who are striving to find their truth and walk comfortably within that truth. She has had to do a great deal of healing and self-discovery. During this time, she has sat at the feet of many wonderful teachers who have assisted her in adding healing tools to her tool box for self-healing. These are the tools that she has also used to assist women as they seek their own answers. Occult (according to Wikipedia) The occult (from the Latin word occultus "clandestine, hidden, secret") is "knowledge of the hidden". This term is so appropriate for what women seek. Often, we hide our own dreams and passions in order to dawn a mask that pleases everyone but the person looking back at us in the mirror. One day, you end up staring at her, trying to figure out who she is and how the two of you became so disconnected. The word occult is so appropriate because every woman will get to the point of having to dig deep, beyond what they have been taught
