Sophia Yamia is a braid and hair stylist for over 20 years. She started her career at age 9 french braiding her two younger sisters hair right in the comfort of her home, "THE LIVING ROOM" & "THE KITCHEN" like many others. She then began to help braid her Mother's hair, where her career shifted and took off. From that point own about age 12 or 13, Sophia Yamia had began braiding her oldest sister's hair leading to clients from school and her community, where her skills enhanced to providing sew in extensions servicing. Leading to her career as a licensed Cosmetogist in two states servicing Women and Children with natural healthy hair care services. Sophia is well know for Soft, shiny, SILKY! body flowing, Silk Press, #DeSilkPress to be exact and her traditional box braids.
