Dr. Doretta L. Spates DNP, APRN, ANP-BC Boasts over 25 years of experience in practice. She is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified advanced practicing Registered Nurse, specializing in complex aesthetic procedures and hormone replacement therapy. After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington with both her master’s and doctorate degrees, she now serves as an adjunct professor in the Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner program. Operating her practice, DLS Aesthetics in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Spates focuses on personalized care, integrating wellness and preventive medicine. Her holistic approach emphasizes nutrition, dietary vitamin supplementation, emotional balance, and physical activity for optimal health. Dr. Spates also travels across the country as an aesthetics clinical educator (ACE) for Suneva Medical. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling (preferably to the beach), playing tennis, attending bootcamp classes, and listening to music. She likes playing music, from classic rock to hip-hop and jazz during appointments. The DLS Aesthetics Team looks forward to guiding patients toward vibrant health and well-being!
