Dai (MSM, E-RYT) discovered yoga through a running injury many years ago and loved how well it complimented her active lifestyle. She received her Yoga Teacher Training in Kansas City and previously owned a yoga studio in Missouri. She has taught Chair Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, Yin (deep stretch), and Restorative. Born in Vietnam, grew up in New Orleans, married military that took them all over living in Japan and Hawaii. Retired military and very excited to be back home in Texas. Her passion is to share the many benefits of yoga to all body types, from athletes to the young at heart and all in between.
Over 20 years of teaching and practicing combined, Kim has used yoga to help her through pregnancy and recovery from surgeries. She believes it has greatly improved her ability to heal. She enjoys teaching the Hatha and Vinyasa Asanas but truly believes great benefits come from the Yin (deep stretch) Yoga. This style of yoga practice focuses on the tendons, fasciae and ligaments which we quite often forget to stretch!
