I received my Massage License in 2009 from the Massage Therapy Institute of Missouri in Columbia, MO. In addition to traditional massage therapy, I specialize in CranioSacral Therapy, a gentle, hands-on, technique that supports the function of the Nervous System and helps free up holding patterns and nervous habits in the body. In a typical session, the client lays fully clothed on the table, I use gentle holds in areas that feel as if they are moving out of sync from the rest of the body. With a light touch, this technique melds with the movements of the body to support the body's natural healing process to change any patterns of restriction. I read books take trainings to be trauma-informed, while maintaining a resiliency based focus. I call upon my favorite healing modalities often: CranioSacral Therapy, Accupressure, Lymphatic Drainage Therapy, Energy work, Yoga, Nutrition, and Meditation. There are many layers to healing and it's always my intention to work WITH my clients to help them through tough emotions and physical restrictions in the body, as opposed to working ON them.
