I bought this business in 2000 from a friend after attending electrology school. My college degree is in physical therapy, and I was a practicing PT from 1998-2008 along with owning my electrology business since 2000. Having the medical background training from my PT degree enabled me to excel in my electrology education and practice. I love helping my clients improve their self-confidence and self-esteem. This is very gratifying work for me. I mold my schedule around the needs of my family. I have two school-aged children, so some aspects of the school year require me to be flexible with my schedule in order to accommodate their schedules.
