As a former mechanical engineer responsible for quality control in Silicon Valley hardware companies, I have a passion for finding the root cause of my clients' conditions and skillfully using medical massage to treat soft-tissue conditions and improve performance. A customized treatment plan is developed to address the unique needs of each client. I have provided medical massage for 14 years in private practice and in partnership with leading doctors and chiropractors in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have treated competitive athletes, professionals and office workers, senior citizens, and others suffering from acute pain and chronic muscular conditions. I am trained in a range of medical massage and manual therapy modalities, as well as pathology, disease, illness and injury, and contraindications of massage for various medical conditions. I am licensed as a Massage Therapist (LMT) by the State of New York, and am a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).
