I am proud to introduce New York City clients to Hendrickson Method Orthopedic Massage, a powerful manual therapy developed in California. As a former mechanical engineer responsible for quality control in Silicon Valley hardware companies, I have a passion for finding the root cause of my clients' conditions and skillfully using orthopedic and sports massage to treat soft-tissue conditions and improve athletic performance. A customized treatment plan is developed to address the unique needs and goals of each client. I have provided orthopedic and sports massage for nearly 20 years in private practice and in partnership with leading doctors and chiropractors, and physical therapists in New York and California. I have treated competitive athletes, professionals, healthcare workers, seniors, and others suffering from acute pain and chronic muscular conditions. I am trained in a range of orthopedic and sports massage therapy modalities, pathology, disease, illness and injury, and contraindications of massage for various medical conditions. I am licensed as a Massage Therapist (LMT) by the State of New York, and am a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP).
