Beauty Lounge East 

From a young age, I knew that I wanted to be a hair and makeup artist. I’ve been blessed to have been able to do what I love since 2001 and, to make it my career. I started by going to cosmetology school in high school then I got a job as an assistant my last year before getting my license. I worked for Carol Martin Salon and Spa (Tallmadge, OH) for nine years with a few detours along the way. My passion has took me to The Beauty Lounge (Akron, OH), Amici’s Salon and Spa (Orlando, Fl), and Blue Velvet Salon (Los Angeles, CA). Along the way I’ve picked up many tips and techniques that have molded me as a stylist. While in Orlando, I went to Joe Blasco makeup school to learn professional makeup artistry and special prosthetics. Along the way, I’ve done hair and makeup for television personalities and commercial shoots. After making my way back to Ohio, I made the move to Beauty Lounge East in early 2013, and bought the salon the following January. I couldn’t be happier to have a place to call my own. It’s even better that I get to share it with a group of highly talented professionals! I absolutely love being able to make people look and feel beautiful it is, above all else, the most important thing to me.

I graduated from The Ohio Academy of Paul Mitchell Twinsburg in 2006. I love getting to do what I love everyday and I’m happy to be apart of a great work environment. I’ve always had a passion to change and get to experiment with different hairstyles. I’ve always had the “gift to gab” and a love for clients with stories to share. I can’t imagine doing anything else!

I’ve been a stylist and color specialist since 2010. If you’re looking for a balayage, foilayage, or a specialty color, I’m your girl! I’m certified in Aqua Extensions and love the hand tied weft system. I like keeping up with current trends and continuing my education.

I’ve been in the beauty industry since 2009. Being able to do what I love everyday is a blessing. I say making people feel beautiful is my super power. I enjoy using my artistic side to customize color for each guest and love keeping up with the latest trends & techniques. I love a good texture haircut and there’s nothing better then a fresh clean clipper cut. I enjoy creating formal styles and completing that look with airbrush makeup. I’m certified in Hairtalk hair extensions. Their tape-in extensions are the best! The best part of my job is the relationships I have built with my guests. I’m a bit of a “Chatty Kathy” and I enjoy a good story because, after all, without my guests I wouldn’t be able to do what I love.
