Bettie(aka Colleen)She/Her is the founder of Bombshell Transformations. She is a stylist, image consultant, educator, interior decorator and home organizer. Drawn to the Sirens of the silver screen and the blonde bombshells of old Hollywood, she began to develop a passion for glamour and beauty. As a lover of the arts, form and technique are the core of her services. She tailors each look to the person who will be wearing it. An educator and stylist of over 20 years, she enjoys helping her clients understand how to maintain their hair at home. She offers styling sessions to those who might be new to hairstyling, those who want to brush up, or learn how to create new looks. She understands every client is unique, and strives to highlight their intrinsic beauty by considering their face shape and coloring. Her goal for you is to walk away from her chair feeling beautiful, authentic and empowered. In her free time, Bettie identifies as a queer woman and spends her time with her fiancé and three older children designing and updating her home and yard. She enjoys cooking, entertaining, traveling and red lipstick!

I started in the health and wellness industry working as a nursing assistant and soon after a medication technician with additional training in Emotional Healing- a form of somatic therapy that focuses on releasing stagnant emotions and settling hyperactive nervous systems. After working in rehabilitation, end-of-life care, and residential care, I settled into memory care where I found a great use for Emotional Healing for those living with Alzheimer's and Dementia. At the beginning of my second year in memory care, I was encouraged to start offering Emotional Healing to the general public and started Blue Foot Healing. I later found that Reiki Healing and Tarot Reading blended beautifully in practice and I began integrating them into my Emotional Healing sessions. While I love working in memory care, I quickly became discouraged by the pharmacological approaches to treating chronic & terminal illnesses. Especially those of the brain and nervous system. This led me to take on an internship and later an apprenticeship, with The Herb Shoppe on Mississippi Ave. My mentors and friends, Ann Meyers and Amanda Furbee were among the first of many influential herbalists I would come to know and love as I began cultivating my practice. Traditional medicine is inspiring! The amount of knowledge shared throughout many different schools of medicine and the cultures behind them is overwhelming and exciting at the same time. In my herbal studies, I kept running into manual therapies and started to feel a calling to work with clients in this way. I enrolled in an extensive massage therapy program with East West College of the Healing Arts and graduated in the spring of 2023 with an emphasis in Spa Therapies, Structural Bodywork, Thai Massage, Swedish Massage, and Craniosacral Therapy. While my path up the mountain has not been straightforward, choosing to specialize in pain relief could not have been more clear, and I'm honored to have walked this path in order to bring this to you
