If there is one thing I learned along the way, it is to stay in front of your clients in between appointments.

Seeing your clients once every 4-6 weeks is great. However, some clients will go 2-3 months in between their appointments, depending on the type of business you have.

Communication is key, especially when they won’t see you for a month or two. I recommend sending out at least 1 campaign a month. However, 2 per month would be ideal.

Here are a few email campaign ideas:

1. Promotions for the day, week, or month.

If you are offering a particular service that is on a special for the month, you definitely want your clients to know about it. You have a few options on Schedulicity.

You can use the Promotions tab and add your service that is on special. When clients schedule their online appointment, the special service will pop up as an option for them to add on before they complete their online booking. This is a great way to add on services to your ticket.

You can also send out a custom email marketing campaign that describes your promotion in detail. These are equipped with a Book Now button as a call to action, so it creates a sense of urgency.

2. Educational Campaigns

Sharing your knowledge with your audience is key. You can create a customized campaign to give your clients some tips throughout the month. Maybe you want to share some tips on how to protect your skin during the summer months; maybe you want to give them some tips on how to relieve stress using essential oils during travel.

It’s great to share these on a monthly basis for a few reasons:

  1. It positions you as an expert in your field.
  2. It shows your clients that you truly care about them and you are thinking about them in between appointments.

3. Re-engagement Emails

Haven’t seen a client in a while? Use the Re-engagement tab in the email marketing campaign section of your Schedulicity account. This is one of my favorites.

Life is so busy for your clients. They may forget to schedule with you. Not to worry. You can create a nice little campaign to a specific group of clients. This will give them a friendly reminder to schedule their next appointment. And, you can add a promotion in this email if you would like. How cool is that?

4. Thank You’s

Last but not least, are you sending your clients a Thank You email after their first visit? YOU SHOULD BE! You can create a Thank You email right here in the email marketing campaign section. It will send out a customized thank you email within 24 hours of their first appointment.

I can promise you, your clients will be so thankful you thought of them. This business is all about building relationships and this is such a kind gesture and a great way to show how much you appreciate them.
