After over 20 years in the Spa & Hospitality field, I am happy to bring my knowledge and passion to the heart of Kona with Hawaii Sanctuary by Saima.  I fell in love with Spa at the early age of 19 years old when I was working as a Spa receptionist at the Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage. From there I moved to Los Angeles and most fondly co-managed “Ole Henriksen” Spa in West Hollywood after a quick promotion. I started to crave deeper knowledge as I then got my Esthetician license at the Santa Monica College beauty branch. I love skincare and combining the understanding of ingredients with efficacy that can change the skin on top of modern technologies and not to overlook, ancient remedies. As an esthetician on the mainland I worked in day spas, The Montage Beverly Hills spa as well as a plastic surgeons clinic in Beverly Hills (amongst other). And then, in 2015 we made a life-changing shift and moved to Kona. I love that I have had the opportunity to be employed at the top resorts on this island where I offer(ed) massage and facials. For a broad understanding of the Skincare field, I believe it is key to have been introduced to many different outlooks and philosophies in it’s approach. MY FACIALS: This is why I chose to parter with iS CLINICAL Innovative Skincare and LEAHLANI Artisanal Skincare (Please feel free to learn more about my product line's benefits at bysaima.com ). You will be delighted by the beautiful natural botanical elements from our islands here in Hawaii. Each product will be felt with purpose and efficiency on your skin. MY MASSAGE is known to be very therapeutic, working on deep muscle tightness and tension with a meditative flow. I pride myself to be a very detail oriented therapist, carefully addressing the body as a whole but also happy to focus on exactly my clients needs.  I specialize in deep tissue and myofascial unwinding, while being confident in many other modalities and methods.

Aloha! I joined Hualalai Four Seasons as a massage therapist in 1997 after working for a small private clientele. I am a graduate of "Healing Hands Maui" where i majored in Anatomy/Physiology with clinical hands-on training in order to procure my license in 1985. I have completed courses in Thai massage, Lomi Lomi massage, Deep Tissue massage and hot stones massage. I have lived in Kona for 35 years where I have raised a family and dedicated my life to the service of helping others. When I'm not keeping busy with massage, you can find me on the ocean. I'm an avid paddler and coach of outrigger canoe. Through my involvement with the state sport, I was able to coach at the high school level and have mentored people ranging from 15-80 years of age. This sport has helped me to stay connected to the Hawaiian Culture and grounded me in my own spirituality. Is is also vital to keep me in tune with mind & body function which I feel is essential for exceptional bodywork.

It makes me happy to help people feel better. A relaxed and blissed out body can help uplift the mind and spirit too! My massage journey started in 2008, and some of my favorite modalities are shiatsu, lomi lomi, and hot stones. A custom massage incorporating a mix of various techniques is also a joy to give. I have been blessed to live in places including Japan, California, Taiwan, NY, and Costa Rica. Hawaii has been my home since 2011. I love traveling and exploring new places, near and far. When I’m not working or cruising around, you’ll find me hanging at home with my little one, playing video games/board games or watching shows about animals or architecture.

Its a pleasure and honor to serve you and support the beautiful body temple that houses your divine soul. The massage I offer is an ecletic mix of styles from Lomi Lomi and Swedish to Thai and Myofascial Release, derived from the training I’ve received from multiple teachers. I’m careful to cater to your personal needs and give focused attention where you need it most. Whether you are looking to relieve specific tensions or simply seeking a relaxing and soothing experience I’ll be certain to accomodate you. Since 2011 I’ve become deeply enthusiastic about encouraging individual and collective wellness through practices that support body, mind, and spirit. Today, I’ve found my heart’s calling in massage bodywork to support physical and emotional wellbeing for our community. In my free time you can find me surfing, dancing, or probably shopping at Island Naturals haha. I’m delighted to meet you and grateful to support your journey through life. Aloha!

Hi my name is Hannah and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist on Big Island. I started my journey in massage at Aloha Massage Academy and never looked back. Massage has changed my life. I was working with exotic animals and after a year living on the island, I knew I wanted to do something different with my life. I am certified in Swedish, Lomi Lomi, Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Release, and Authentic Thai Yoga Massage. My favorite aspect of massage is helping people feel good with their bodies and to empower them to take care of themselves. We only have one body and we need to treat it like a temple! I am excited to have the opportunity to work with you! When I am not massaging, you will find me free diving, hiking, baking in the sun, practicing yoga, eating good food, and making jewelry.

Since receiving my first massage and panchakarma treatments as a child I have been enthralled and amazed by massage therapy and manual medicine! I first studied massage in 2008 back home in Tucson, Arizona with an incredible school which offered deep experience in Swedish, Shiatsu, Myofascial, Craniosacral and Watsu. Intuitively I began to blend the best of what I was learning to create my style and flow which gives a serene and blissful massage session which also effectively works to correct imbalance in the body. Massage and Manual Therapy is truly my passion and I am always studying more! To complement and complete my wellness practice I am a Yoga Therapist and personal trainer with a focus on Ayurveda and structural alignment. When I am not at the massage table you can find me exploring the island, on my paddle board or diving for eagle rays!
