Antonetti's Hair for Men 

Mr. Antonetti started out with a vision of what a barber shop/mens salon should be as an adult. A shop where quality of service is the norm, where trust and consistency meet. Where everyone, no matter the style or age, can walk out feeling they are the priority. Mr. Antonetti is known by many names. Desmond, Dez, D, but most recently… Dad.

Back in the early 20th century I had relatives that were barbers and hairstylists. It wasn’t my dream in the beginning to become a hairstylist at first, but history would take it’s course. In early 2005 I started at a small shop in Tiburon California with my aunt Cindy. I was sweeping floors as I took notice to her skill. There, I felt passionate to cut and style hair. I became her apprentice just before my second semester as a junior in high school. She encouraged me to start cosmetology school and get my license to cut hair. Once I obtained a license, I began working at her beauty salon for 4 years. That gave me a great first experience in the business cutting women’s hair. In 2008 I took interest in another small barber shop. A quaint atmosphere in the old part of Sausalito California. Only a ten minute walk from my house. There in late 2009, a shop called Caledonia Street Barbers, there I met Edward Ramirez. A cool old barber that had a huge passion for boxing. He brushed me up b

I have always enjoyed changing my hair styles so one day I thought I might enjoy cutting and styling other peoples hair as well. Not only do I love it, but I seem to be awesome at it! I have been doing hair since 2007 and will continue to do so until my hands stop working or fall off. I hope to see you in my chair soon!
